Meet Our Family

Thank you for taking a moment to get to know us! We're the Hooleys, and are the owners of Sparrow Senior Living. Opening a facility like this has been a dream of ours for many years, and we are so excited to serve the seniors in our community.

Dan and Libby both grew up in the Colon area and graduated together from Colon High School. They married in 2013 and now have their home near Burr Oak. They have two boys, Truman and Lyle, who are affectionately known as "The Hooligans". 

Dan works with his dad on their fourth generation family farm. You may see him around The Sparrow House from time to time, especially during the "off-season", helping with maintenance projects and visiting with residents. 

Libby has worked as a Physician Assistant for thirteen years. Prior to this, she worked in nursing homes as well as providing in-home care for patients with dementia. She began her career as a PA at the University of Chicago Hospital, and more recently has worked for Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo and Paw Paw. You will see her often at The Sparrow House, cooking meals, planning activities, and helping provide direct care for residents.
